These systems automatically move the blank superdiscs from input bin to diskette recording drive to diskette labeling printer. This allows unattended duplication of a single master disc, multiple master discs, or data files stored on a network server. SuperDisk for Software Distribution SuperDisk is a 120MB 3.5" floppy diskette developed by Imation Corporation. SuperDisk technology utilizes a SuperDisk floppy drive, which is compatible with standard 1.44MB floppy disks and the high capacity 120MB SuperDisks. SuperDisk technology is now found integrated into many PC, Macintosh, and Laptop platforms. For secure environments, an encryption-enabled version of the SuperDisk allows password protection of individual files that is ideal for distribution of confidential data or password keyed applications.
